Shipping/Stock
We generally ship via UPS or FedEx Ground service (beginning March, 2009), except for items that are too large. Whenever possible with 1 or 2 lb items that do not require excessive insurance, we will ship via Priority Mail and adjust the freight savings accordingly. Please note that for Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico you need to choose Priority Mail, if that is not a valid option given your items, we will then e-mail you with correct freight charges and method.

All domestic orders received from Monday to Friday are shipped within 24 hours. Delivery times vary according to the shipping method chosen.

While we make every effort to ensure that the products listed on our site are in stock. If you order an out of stock item we will immediately notify you via e-mail or phone and your credit card will NOT be charged. You then have the option to cancel the order or wait for new stock to arrive. All orders for parts that cannot be shipped within a week will be contacted.

Damage Claims
All merchandise is inspected prior to leaving our warehouse. It is important to open packages immediately upon receipt and report any damage to the carrier (an email to us as well, would be helpful). Often a package will appear to be fine, but upon opening has hidden damage.

Foreign Orders
We regret that due to recent difficulties with some foreign shipments, we will only be able to ship to select International destinations. Countries not appearing as a choice on our order form will be subject to approval (e-mail international inquiries before placing an order). If approval is granted, stipulations may apply. Our responsibility, as the shipper, will end once we prove the order has been shipped. We will not be held responsible, for ultimate receipt of parcels delivered, lost or damaged, by foreign postal services. Also, transit times of International shipments are not guaranteed and will vary, most often due to customs clearance; we are not in control of these delays and therefore, cannot provide an exact, guaranteed, time in transit for International shipments. For definite receipt, supply your own DHL, FedEx or UPS Account # and we will ship via these methods.

Due to constant fluctuations in international shipping costs, our web-site cannot always accurately compute appropriate freight expenses. In the event the amount calculated at time of checkout is insufficient or method unavailable for items chosen, we will send an e-mail to you with correct charges for you to approve. Special instructions or requests should be placed in the "comments" area of the order form. Individual countries have tariffs and customs fees which may apply. We are not responsible for any additional charges you may incur so be certain to check with your local government prior to ordering if this is a concern.

If for whatever reason, you aren't satisfied with the product, return it to us for a hassle-free refund (freight charges are non-refundable). Additional manufacturers' warrantees also cover most products, please e-mail us if you would like details. If you would like to return an item, we ask that you call or email for instructions on how to return, so that we can expedite credit to your account.

We are happy to accept personal checks and money orders, made payable to AEW, in advance for purchases. Orders received with money orders will ship within 24 hours. Please allow 7-10 business days for personal checks to clear prior to shipment of your order. There is a $25 charge for all checks returned unpaid.

Credit for new returns made AFTER 30 days are subject to a 20% handling charge; OR if returned within 120 days of purchase, a classicgarage.com credit for the FULL amount may be issued, upon request, which is valid for 1 year from date of original purchase towards any other merchandise from our web-site.

Important:
All returns must be complete as new, with all original parts. Include a copy of your original invoice or a note with your complete name and address along with the original invoice number and reason for return. Use the original packaging to send the item(s) back or a sturdy shipping container. Items returned incomplete or not in an exterior shipping container are subject to handling and/or rebox charges.
